Though I live 12,000 miles away, I still consider Ayrshire home, so it was a pleasure to appear at my hometown book festival, East Ayrshire’s Imprint Festival in Kilmarnock.
The event took place in Kilmarnock’s Dick Institute, the library I used to go to as a kid. It was great to see some old faces again (including my old high school English teacher, Mr Patterson) and to meet Alistair Braidwood, who very ably chaired the event. (Photos are courtesy of Mike Scott.)
